Historically brewed at an Abbey in Southern Belgium which was founded in 1152, Leffe brews have a distinctive flavour that reminds one of a more robust selection of European Ales and Lagers.
Leffe Blond (which I recently discovered has no e at the end of Blonde) is an elegantly spicy draught which brings a broad palette of aromas which disguises the 6.6% ABV that always succeeds in warming up a touch more than anticipated, in a very good way.
Pairs very well with any rich creamy pasta like the Black & Blue or any of our great steaks.
