This Spanish Wine is robust in coloration with a deep red brick hue, with a comparatively medium to light body.
The nose is of sweet oak and (as a great matching characteristic) spice, which dominates throughout the tasting of this wine. Soft tannins and a moderate acidity finish off this well balanced wine.
A 9oz Glass of Montecillo is best paired with a spicy dish with sausage, much like our Bayou Jambalaya.
